50% Off TreeDBNotes Notetaking Software - Pro $17.47USD($26.60 AUD)/Bus.$22.47USD($34.21 AUD)

40

There is currently 50% off TreeDB Notetaking software.
I have been using this product for years and it is fantastic, and it is very rarely this price. Last time I recall was around this time last year.
The most common use of it is for advanced note organization.

Note that it only works on Windows - and a portable version exists. Some cool features in Pro includes encryption. Full comparison between free and Pro can be viewed at: http://www.mytreedb.com/free_vs_pro.html

Unsure when the deal ends.

  • I know we are not supposed to do this but is it possible to buy the personal license and install in more than 2 PCs? Does the software check how many copies are concurrently running?

    • I am just a user so don't take it as definitive - there is a fully featured 'portable version' that you can install onto your thumbdrive that is fully licensed which you install from within the program itself, so I assume that can be done anyway. In regards to your comment in particular, I deactivated the internet when I registered and registered fine - which makes me think registration is just generated off the name and not via net. This is supported by the wording saying you can install it only on your Personal PC - which you could theoretically have multiple of. I think they just want to milk it if someone wants to use it legally in a commercial setting.

      • Thanks. Do u have any issues with this software? I m keen to buy as the tree format database seem to cater to my needs fairly well

        • Haven't found any major issues yet - and the autobackup feature has saved me numerous times. Only quirk is that I have found it complaining when you try to attach to a note a document that is currently open.

Alternatives do exist - I suggest you install the free version of this & the others, as the choice is very personal.
Alternatives include RightNote, Onenote (to some extent), CintaNotes, cherrytree, TreePad, ec. - you will quickly find your favorite once you play with each of them for a bit. But I recommend as always, because TreeDB has a free feature, you would be stupid not to try the free one works and see if you like it - and it even might meet your needs with no need for pro.

  • I own TreeDBNotes but find RightNote better. Each to his own, but if purchasing, research first.

    • Thanks didn't know about this one. Will check this out

      • I suspect most would be happy with free KeynoteNF.
There's not a workday when I don't update my notes. Payback is enormous.
