      You always have to compare and go for the cheapest. I found that with the discount codes, sometimes Hotel Club can be cheaper for some hotels (but not necessarily, as you found). I have also found Hotel Club's customer service very good to deal with in case of problems.

        Always check multiple sites. HotelClub is competitive given you get frequent 15% off promo codes + cashrewards + hotel rewards.

        EDIT: Sorry appears it has been dropped from Cashrewards.

        @uder: As I mentioned further down, forget about cashrewards. I don't think they are still participating, but either way my (substantial) cashrewards cashback got declined.

      Ratestogo is basically hotelclub in different name. but this time has higher discount 20% plus 9.6% cashback from cashrewards, However you do not get member rewards $ though.

  Last time I used a coupon with Hotelclub, the cashback from cashrewards got declined, so be mindful of that.
  I can't see Hotelclub on cashrewards anymore, so not sure whether that has anything to do with it.

  The code doesn't work for me, put it in as instructed, but the hotel I want already has 10% off. It won't stack or even allow the extra 5% off.

    The discount isn't applicable across the board. It only applies to participating hotels ie those which state "PROMO CODE ELIGIBLE".
