yeah I keep getting the error page too.. I think the tracking number is wrong or Startrack forgot to add reference numbers to the consignment .
The tracking link in the email Samsung sends is incorrect. You'll need to log into the Samsung store and view your order, where you can see the tracking reference number directly. Mine is already on board for delivery today!
When did you order? i ordered at 10:44am yesterday and got express delivery to melbourne metro.. logged into samsung site and got tracking code, entered into startrack page - error.
Received a txt from samsung 20mins ago stating its just been shipped and expected for delivery tomorrow.express delivery, yeah right!
Ordered yesterday at 12:30PM. I received it this morning at around 10AM, but then again I'm in the Sydney CBD.

I picked up a pair when I was in Singapore last week after trying them out in a mates Samsung store. Being a geek it's a no brainer…if you've never tried any sort of VR it will truly blow your mind, experience is smooth and so immersive. My Mrs. was jumping our of her seat and squealing when trying out the BlueVR app. I have a Note 5 and one thing you do notice is the phone gets pretty hot after 20-30mins use.
Bluevr? cant find anything about it? Always keen to get the Mrs squeeling ;)
My bad the app is called theBluVR, underwater ocean sim. You get sharks and all matter of sea creatures swimming at you, very cool. ;)

My tracking number is still not working
mine didnt either.. i also recieved a sms from samsung saying it would be delivered tomorrow. it showed up on my door at 11am this morning
By chance anyone in WA, my tracking reference works, but the status is just "In Transit" and it does have an ETA of today, but when i called Star Track they were saying that apparently some flights were grounded last night being over weight (why not just take some stuff off the plane lol?) either way, hasn't scanned in WA yet, and it's now 1:30pm in the afternoon, so im thinking it's probably not going to show up today, but would be interested to hear if anyone else in WA that ordered yesterday and had it dispatched actually received theirs?
Also in WA, haven't received mine yet! Mine also just says "in-transit" with a blank scan depot.
@squirrels2: I am fairly certain we won't see them until tomorrow at the earliest based on what the startrack rep that i spoke with had to say :(

you all need to call Samsung, that's how I got the right code..
So if you call startrack with the numbers provided it won't work with them on the blower?

Great dealHas anyone found a usable gamepad for use with the Gear VR? I ordered mine about 2 hours before the deal (so without 10% off) but received it the next day so was happy.
I'm having trouble finding a shop in/ near Melbourne CBD to buy a gamepad for instant gratification, which I'm surprised about. I'm not sure about the reliability of the cheaper off brand ones online or the seemingly inflated price of the Samsung/ Moga/ SteelSeries controllers through ebay (mostly costing about the same as the Gear VR).
I just got mine delivered today and gave it a test run before. Pretty cool!
I have one of those cheapie controllers that sell on eBay for about $30. I'll try it out tonight and report back.
Some games work with the ipega bluetooth controller which is found all over ebay. Theres a free bow and arrow shooting game that is free on the oculus store which doesnt work with it though, so thats annoying. Also apparentl it doesnt work with the arcade app too, though i only read about that.
So for the most part, the cheap controllers work, but not perfectly.
Awesome experiences so far! Everyone that I have shown the Gear VR to are blown away. The 360 photo viewer takes the cake for viewing landmarks from around the world. Definitely need a controller to get the best experience out of playing games. The major draw back is the thermal issues I've experienced with the Galaxy S6.
Agree, thermal issues are a problem. Also I have terrible eyesight and while the glasses fit, I do get headaches due to eye strain. Friends with much better eyesight don't seem to have the problem.
