You shouldn't be dropping neg votes without some kind of confirmation about prices ..
Given that A) there doesn't appear to be any way other than going to the shop to actually GET prices and B) it therefore can't be compared here with any competitors then I think it's fair to neg it.
The posting guidelines specify that you should give examples of prices (or how a discount affects those prices) and that you're meant to check competitors.
Read the guidelines properly :)
i got a quote at looksmart, pulled out the $10 discount voucher and they increased the original quote by $8
I beleive each store is a franchise - perhaps report this to the head office.
You may find that some stores already offer a discount, and that using the coupon only reduces the FULL list price. eg, Perth Carillon store does pants hemming for $15. However, this is a special price, the list price is $24, which is what the Enex store charges. I used a $10 off coupon and paid $14. So, with the $15 off coupon I expect to pay $13.
The best nearest price I got was $11 at Dynasty, but only by virtue of getting $10 cashback from Shop Small.
umm only bring out the vouchers when they about to ring up the till that way they wont know until too late
Can't find any indication of what the prices are… not really a bargain if the $15 off brings an alteration down to $50 when other places already do it for $30 etc…
