I just had an order cancelled / refunded for a RC car I snapped up for a bargain. It's speculative selling by them, as they have no idea on whether they have the stock.
I actually never bothered walking into a DSE store during this whole sale, as I learnt from last time that their sales are disingenuine. Looks like I saved myself a significant amount of emotional investment.

I just bought one from the Office works clearance $350 . It is just upgrading to Windows 10 today. It is very slow charging and I have just Googled it and it appears to be a common problem. The sound is not very loud but I am waiting for the win 10 upgrade to see if that improves . It appears to come with Office 2013 .
I am more at home with Android on my Nexus 7 and although Microsoft claim to have lots of Apps in their store I couldn't find many that I would buy compared to Google play store. Hope I like it more after Win 10
Are you sure it's not just slow because the charger resembles a phone charger and it has an additional battery in the keyboard? I have a tf810c which is similar and it takes ages to charge, but I get a month out of it sometimes
unfortunately no this just has "2Cells 31 Whrs Polymer Battery" I got a bit confused with the acer one when I was trying to decide what to buy .

I have a Dick Smith 47.5" tv at home and I'm pretty happy with it. The picture is genuinely excellent, the HD channels look very crisp and just as good as the $1000 tvs. The sound however is about 2 out of 5 stars- I would describe it as workable but quite "tinny". I mean it is 'okay' in the sense that it doesn't really bother me- you could do without a sound bar. I have a chromecast hooked into it, works like a breeze and the USB port is near the HDMI port so no need for mains power.The interface is really fast and intuitive too. Baffles me why you'd spend $1K+ on a tv. Assuming all these qualities transfer to the 39.5" model- and I don't see why not- I would recommend it.
Damn that's a good deal on the TV. Bit the bullet on the JB Hifi deal a couple of weeks back for the $399, 43". I'm quite happy with it but would have happily traded for this deal. Maybe I can still return it…

I picked mine up this morning. Store I chose as pickup had no stock except display, then asked if I would like one from another store. Arranged a pickup from another store for me. I guess it must just come down to finding a CS rep that gives a shit.
I think you're right. Anyway, they still haven't returned the $300 (not $269) they took from my Paypal account for the TV that I didn't get! I think I'm going to give up on DSE, they're bloody awful.
Received a call just now saying only display in stock and won't turn on. Refund already processed by them. What a f***ing waste of time DSE is these days. No attempt at all to sort something out for the customer.

There was one T100 on clearance (display model) for $199 in DS Chermside about 4 days back.
Well, I have been trying to call DSE online and emailing them but I cannot get to speak to anyone regarding the refund for the cancellation of the TV (no stock). I did manage to get through to the store where I was supposed to pick it up and they said that I wasn't the first person to call and complaining that I was unable to get through to the online sales dept.
He did say that if I hadn't received my money by the end of the month, give him a call back and he would chase it up for me. Really, I am finished with these cowboys once and for all. No wonder they're going down the pan.

Did anyone have any problems with the TV?
First was turned on, tv channels tuned, and then BOOM, failed on startup.
Second one (received replacement) is having problems tuning..
