I am trying to buy from USA to my virtual address (which will forward to Aussie) and the credit card payment does not go through as the card is from Australia.,.
where i can buy a prepaid card that will go through this payment-

I could never buy stuff from the US MS store with my Oz CC.
(1) When I got a free Citibank debit card a couple of years ago I could. Worked in this specific case. YMMV.
Other advantages are:
(2) no foreign currency transaction or conversion charges
(3) no ATM charges if overseas
(4) you can transfer money in and out of Oz fee free.
I have successfully used the DC for (2) and (3).
I haven't tried (4).
You could try a prepaid travel card from Australia post?
You could also try a prepaid card from your bank.
Or maybe an American Express prepaid card. You can get these from the exchange counters at some AusPost stores.
Or sign up to Citibank but they often take a while to send out the card.
One thing to check though how much are you REALLY saving by buying from the US, shipping to your virtual address and then to Australia. If it is less than $50 I wouldn't even bother.
There was a thread on this a while back, I think the Australia Post prepaid visa debit (or something like that) worked out the best. I looked into it at the time and you can login on their portal online and change your address to whatever you like, including overseas addresses. That was about 12 months age so may have changed but at the time it was the cheapest and easiest option by far.
