  • Too early?

When was the last date Telstra sim starter packs were allocated to the supermarkets? Seems like a gigantic waste of advertising.

I wonder if those adrenalin gc can be combined when redeeming them. Seems like with such a big discount there must be a catch.

    • Yeah I would like to know that too, anyone have experience?

      • I 3 would like to know! Thinking of getting some if I can…how can we find out???

        • Looking at the terms it appears you get charged $4.50 per gift card you use:

It is the Gift Voucher holder's responsibility to ensure the gift voucher is redeemed before the expiry date of their gift voucher. Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be redeemed towards the purchase of another Gift Voucher. A transaction fee of $4.50 will apply to each gift voucher.

          http://www.adrenalin.com.au/terms/

          That's all I can find.

So therefore a $100 Gift voucher will cost you $59 as a maximum of $50 gift vouchers can be purchased through this deal.
Still a good deal but still a bit iffy on whether it will work if I buy a stack.

        • @treeman:

Hmm looking at the reviews on: http://www.productreview.com.au/p/live-adrenalin/5.html
It doesn't make me confident although I think a lot of the poor reviews are the failure of people not to follow things up and assume everything will be okay.

        • +1

@treeman: Reviews are turning me off as well. Don't suppose anyone has tried rafting in Rotorua NZ with them? $150 for 4 of us is hard to pass up.

        • The gift card itself says that if your purchase is greater than the value of the gift card then you must pay it via another method. It is not clear if that other method can be another gift card. Their website also doesn't have a login function where you can store credits like with redballoon. The evidence suggests that you can't use more than 1 gift card with every transaction but I'd like to be proven wrong.

I've just put an order through using a few cards, seems you can use as many as you want in one transaction.

Got charged one off $4.50 booking fee for the entire transaction, that's it.

      Great deal.

      • Thanks for taking the risk!
        Last day to purchase.

  • Woolworths Telstra $30 Starter Kits $10 AGAIN $30 Starter Kits for $10.00

I'll believe it when I see it.

    • What are you talking about?

      • Every time these starter kits are on special, every single store I've gone to either has no idea about the deal, or has no stock. I tried six different Woolies last time.

        • Really? I've never had an issue with it.

You need to go to the service desk and they usually have them behind the counter.

        • @treeman: Yep, tried that. No luck.
