  Thanks OP, it works extremely well. It found over 30Gb of duplicate files - mostly movies - which on a Mac Air is quite a lot!

    I can't imagine the technology for detecting duplicate files evolves particularly quickly!

    Says it supports 10.7 and above. Good enough I reckon.

    Just watch the subscription signup when it starts up. They're probably just releasing old software for free to boost their mailing list

      yosemite and el cap didnt exist when this was released, so just a bit wary if it's fully compatible or not.

      hoping it's a freebee before a major update…

        Trend micro makes a duplicate finder thats pretty good and well updated if you're worried about compatibility.
