Quick Easy Question Filling out Tax Form

hi
am starting a new job soon and it will be my only job and don't have any other job/s.
am filling out the tax form and question 8 asks:
do you want to claim the tax-free threshold from this payer? yes or no.

and question 9
do you want claim the senior australian tax offset by reducing the amount withheld.

please advice
