Damn missed it was about to bolt
Yeh i just got there 5 minutes ago.. All gone.. Someone is a prick.
Instead of Out of Stock title should read "Brodened" in red
If this could be added as a user selectable preference, I would be delighted!
Was this deal in all stores or just one listed was it an error in store,if i tried my local lol would they be same price lol
thanks OP. Grabbed 3 packs.
almost 80% of ppl walked in were asking where are the eneloops! lolI got there in time.. But i didnt know where they were .. By the time i found them they were all (20 of them ) in the hands of the 3 people inline to buy
Again is this in all dse stores or just one listed?
I called Burwood DJ they didnt have it on special
Want to scream…great deal.
Lol just noticed its dj and not dse are dse selling them in store this cheap?
The last 10 Eneloop packs were grabbed by an old lady. I managed to grab one just a couple of minutes earlier before her but didn't think she would take all. I felt sorry for the onlookers who probably walked several blocks to get a hold of one. Over all there were some good deals on Sony and Bose speaker systems and a lot of S4 and S6 phone cases.
what does this old lady need tropical eneloop for?
hope she does not have cataract and thinks they are colour lipsticks.resell on ebay.. "allot of people resell on ebay now days :)
I was tempted to buy 50 of them to do the same.. but at the end of the day i did buy two properties in Sydney at the right time so its chump change to the money made in Real estate i guess.
So for next few years, 8 Eneloop for $5.05 wouldn't be a bargain in ozbargain :)
How can these brodens sell them on ebay when it costs them so much more to post?
cost price $5
retail price (according to DSE) $30+?
pick a number between 6-30? assume ebay charge 10% ? :)what I meant was to postage of the battery itself. unless its for pickup, postage will be expensive
oops forget to add postage, honest business mistake, add $5, still pick a number between $11-$30 :)
@boomramada: No, AusPost will not deliver batteries because its a dangerous goods. You will require special courier services (which has dangerous goods license) to deliver which will cost greater than your $30 profit margin
Edit: I am partially wrong. Dangerous goods prohibited on air not road even though classified as dangerous goods.
@ykwon10:
Still wouldn't cost more than $5-8, catch of the day, and DSE used to post it for me for around that price.Nope you're still wrong. Dangerous goods applies to items containing Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries. Namely found in phones, laptops, gaming devices, tablets etc. Not Ni-Mh that the eneloops are.
I deal with Auspost on this issue almost daily. :/
@ykwon10:
I am pretty sure you are fully wrong.
NiMH batteries are different to lithium batteries…@pood: Yes, I think you guys are right on this. Further search on AusPost website states Li-Ion batteries only. So broden wins!
OMG $5! What a price!
Went to a DS store at lunch time. Got the staff to scan it, they said it was $55. I had a feeling I read it was $5.
Should have asked them to override the price. Was strange only a few packets left.
Awesome price. BUT won't it be funny if it was 50c/pk on Sat :)
Still have some in BURWOOD store, you guys may go and pick it up tmr !
In NSW?
I went to Burwood on closing they had none left
Sanyo made??
I thought eneloop were made by Panasonic?
Could be old manufactured stock!
Still an ass-tastic deal!!
Ta-Ta-TaOLD 2013 stock.. all new ones are made in china and Panasonic branded
i'm not sure if age effects battery cells!.. if freshness = longer life spans
So is it confirmed also in store price?
NOT in store price.. scans at $55 but still Iffy on DJ dicks
