Can people please update the thread as they bag some bargains today at Dick Smith

DO NOT boast and write stories of what you got and where and how you got

Make it simple

Just List the item - Price (If possible the product code- you can find in the receipt or the ticket)

Prices are going to be same at all stores

This will help people to just go for that item instead of trying to scan 100+ to get 2 or 3 at a reduced price.Do not post any comment other than product and the price.

    I am out of the loop on DS, whats happening are they going into liquidation sale? Also I am looking for a couple of Xmas pressies that DS sells so not sure if people are posting bargains here or if they are posting it on the main page of OZB.

    Lastly if you know where I can get a reasonably priced FitBit Charge HR then I would realllly appreciate it if you can let me know please.

      no, they were just getting rid of all their old stock that had built up for years.

    I saw 4 copies of Destiny base game on PS4 for $20 each and I nabbed a copy of Shadow of Mordor for the same price on PS4 the other day. That was Dick Smith Clifford Gardens, Toowoomba.

    A few door chimes, Fitbits and Timex watches, and discounted laptops at DSE Townsville QLD- Asus Transformer for 199, but no stock of any Samsung Tabs or DSLR cameras.

    Fountain Gate VIC Move still had a few Bose headphones (Soundsport and a QC20) and cases as of Sunday, but not much else- tablets and cameras were all gone.

    Picked up Canon 70D with 18-55 lens for $599. With cash back brings it down to $450. No more at Penrith stores as they flew out

    Apparently city stores still has some as checked on their comp

    1 display stock at Wetherill Park but looks crap body only $599

    I knew some people were wondering about clearance on the 70D so $599 should be price nation wide

      Thanks for the heads up! I guess the 70d is better than 700d but I just wanna upgrade my 600d. I will have another stalk around in town for a 70d but if anyone is willing to grab one for me I will be forever grateful. Obviously I will pay you back :)

        I did see on on display in darwin(casuarina store) on the weekend but then a day later i saw one on gumtree so it might of gone the way of so many others. I may be in the area tomorrow so will let you know if they stil have one

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $333 from Perth Dick's opposite HJ's, on clearance.
    It appeared to be locked to Vodafone, which is why it hadn't sold yet, but I asked the helpful Samsung assistant who said it was unlocked it may just have some vodafone advertising, which it didn't anyway.

    Also if anyone wants 5Tb portable hard drive for $99. Toshiba canvio slim ii 1tb for $39.

    Also available at that store: 1 Samsung note 3 pink at $340.

      That 5tb surely is a desktop external… still a very good deal regardless. If it was a 2.5" drive then it's a god damn steal!

      It's the desktop version of the larger drives. The 4TB is $99 and if you can find the Toshiba 2gb portable it's $49.

      Don't forget the 10% family and friends discount for today and tomorrow which will bring these down even more.
