  There is no problem in buying parallel import Duracell batteries. I purchase these cells from Cheap as Chips and other stores on a regular basis and they last just as long as genuine imports. That's because all AA/AAA/C etc Duracell batteries are made in China.

  Cut out the middle man (Duracell Australia) and get the batteries direct.

    Not too concerned about the batteries, they should be fine.

    More worried about Sunsilk shampoo. My parents bought cheap Pantene shampoo which I believe was parallel import because it was quite different to the local product I had been using. Local product was thicker and more gel like, parallel import was runnier and dried out my hair more. I didn't actually know it was a parallel import until afterwards when I asked why it seemed to wash differently, then it all became clear…

      agree. VO5 shampoo from Reject/golo/etc are parallel imports and quality is awful. Called Alberto (VO5) customer line in Australia to complain, and they even complained about the quality of the imported product, but there was nothing they could do but tell us to stay clear of it.

  Sunsilk is not parallel import. They seem to be very honest re their products. Eg: 9volt says in description it's parallel import. So i honestly wouldnt worry about it. Also .. it says free shipping OVER $30 orders.
