  • It's a Sony. Good deal.
But waiting for bluetooth wireless ones.

    • Do you think they will put the MDR-AS800BTB on sale though?

I'm tempted to go for these, but why couldn't the black ones be on sale too, only white?

      • For those who waited and lucky to get one this morning. $51

  • +1

looks good to use my 25 and 30 gift cards for the sony store, thanks OP!

  • I've got the wireless version of these for the gym. Very nice headphones all round. Good deal, I picked up a pair for when sitting around at work. Thanks!

  • +3

Thanks, comes down to $5.99 delivered with $30 Sony E-coupon

    • -1

      What coupon ?

      • +3

It came with a camera I purchased last year. It was a Sony HX60V, which DS have currently on sale for $99. Worth chasing one down just for the $30 e-coupon which can be used over and over and over again.

        • If it can be used over and over, share it ? Lol

        • @Danstar: It would soon get maxed out. They have a maximum use and timed expiry.

        • Ah cheers, thought it was a generic one !

        • +1

@aaronbaron: I'm not willing to take that risk in case they cancel it. Sorry.

        • @unity1: Would you consider sharing it with 1 person for a single use for a small price in return? or anyone kind enough to help me get a coupon, i tried registering but i didnt recieve and ecoupon

        • @Sarkisooo:

Buddy, "i tried registering but i didnt recieve and ecoupon", you need to buy a camera to get it.
I got it with my A7II. I spent $1600 on that camera and got a $30 accessory e-coupon card, hell to the no am I giving my code out. Unity1 just told you where you can get one, go buy a cheap camera.

Edit: Max Usage on mine is 3 orders.

        • @cwongtech: some people were reporting up to 16 oders so, not everyone is going to be ordering that much…

          At $5.99 per pair?

    • Looks like this will be the only useful use of the coupon - suspect the speakers and other items are likely to still be overpriced even with it.

      • It can be used for memory cards, DVD-r, etc

        • +1

But they are waaaay overpriced compared to retail … but found that they still have USB Drives : USM16GR 16GB USB Micro Vault™ Classic in stock … yes crap and slow but 2 for $4 isnt bad ;)

        • @pw2002au: True, but the free delivery is convenient too, and there are specials from time to time.

  • That's OP :)

  • Awesome, thanks a lot op. Just out of curiosity is there any way to see yesterdays deal and a landing page to see what gets released ?

  • Dammit, I've bought these headphones now but after looking at tomorrows deal I want those ones even more so. I'll have to take a look at what price they come in at. I keep breaking the audio jacks to my headphones no matter the quality.

    • I'm thinking the same thing, especially after my comment above, but I've held off so far in pushing the button.

I think I'll wait, even though they are not the direct replacement product being a 9mm vs a 12mm driver. For my main use when running though it would mean replacing my current iPod nano (great for running with) and needing to keep my phone on me.

    • Maybe this price?

      • I'm hoping you dug that up from their page and I didn't miss the sale lol. I'll buy those ones too at that price.

    • I'm the same and looking at buying some bluetooth sweatproof headphones. Not sure if I should hold off on These or wait until tomorrows Sony deal.

    • This is Ozbargain, buy both.

  • How do these compare with the normal apple ones? Do they sound better or they are more or less the same?

    • +2

      Way better and comfortable.

    • I'm on my 4th Apple Earpods because they just get ruined if you use them for running/working out. I've just ordered these ones now, should last much longer.

  • -2

    Same price in dick smith

    • Hey mate

Do you have a link - I just tried searching for it and got nothing.

      • I came back from my local and they weren't in the clearance sale.

  • Thanks OP was looking for headphones this morning. Perfect timing.

  • Thanks just ordered a pair - these should hopefully work with my Nexus 6p as the Xperia is also Android.

    • It'll work on any thing with a jack

  • +3

For anyone else who hasn't yet bought, they seem to be $35.99 (not $35).

Also, there are two cashback offers on:
    PricePal (founder level) = 2.70%
    Cashrewards = 2.4%

    • Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Forgot cashback ><

    • Hey how do i get the pricepal and cash rewards cashback ?

what is the total after it ?

      • Two different cashback websites, so no.
Its basic math so you should be able to work it out depending on which one you use.

      • sigh is right, you can only pick one of them.

I'm assuming since you're asking that you don't have a PricePal account, so your best bet is probably cashrewards.

        1. Sign up at cashrewards.com.au
        2. When logged in, search for 'Sony'
        3. Click through the cashrewards link to buy from the website.
Note: You may want to do all of this in a fresh/clean browser so there's a higher chance that it gets tracked properly. If you're interested in reading about tracking, there is feedback here on whether things track properly - still, you have nothing really to lose from trying it.
  • Thanks OP. Bought one for myself.

  • remote supports android?

    • Need confirmation please

    • +1

yeah use it fine with note 5.

  • are these better than yurbuds? https://yurbuds.com.au/product-category/in-ear/ hubby does a lot of running which would be better?

Just bought some at sony store. So darn comfy and sound is really good. Highly recommend.

    • is it the same price at the store?

I'm thinking of going to the parramatta store tommorow

      • Yeah went parra store. 35.99 :)

  • waiting for tomorrow and the wireless one.

  • Wireless ear buds? Don't you lose them so easily? Well ofc you will notice since you are listening on the event of occurring…

    • They aren't wireless. I have these, bought them for $55 or so from memory

  • These are decent earphones. I had a pair that fell out of my pocket and lost. I might replace them now. Thanks OP!

  • Only white?

  • I'm stuck between this one and tomorrows offer.

But can't seem to find many reviews for tomorrows one. Any opinions?

    • +1

Found a bunch of reviews for tomorrow's MDRAS600BTDs. The consensus seemed to be they were great if they fit your ears well. Otherwise they fall out very easily due to the added weight of each ear piece.

  • thanks op - bought 1

  • Good price, but not good enough to impulse buy. Plus I have way too many earphones already… thanks to this site.

  • bought this, just got the email from cashrewards, didn't know until now that the cashback is the percentage of the real sale value before discount ($2.88) instead of after discount

  • Good thing it is the white version since I have the white Xperia Z5.

  • Got mine in the mail yesterday :) ripper bargain

  • Deal available again, unexpired.

    • +1

      Thanks. Got One.

  • +1

Cheers OP. An absolute steal for $5.99. It's going for over $100 at Jb Hi Fi.

    • +1

Wow! Just got $4.80 cashback from Cashrewards.

      • +1

were you getting errors trying to pay via cc?
i ended up doing bpay for mine, worked and cashrewards also tracked it (also used a code :)

  • Is this working? I have tried about 5-6 times today from AM, to lunch, to after dinner … to now … on Chrome, FF, and IE … and get

"We currently experiencing an unusually high number of visitors on our website, please come back later to buy this product."

    • try bpay

      • You get that message when you click buy now (add to cart)

    • How many times have you bought this?

      • once, just wanted to see if it worked =) and it did … just then!

I'm actually after the BT earphones too … they are the normal price as i see …

  • Thanks, received today, ordered Sunday morning. Very impressive!

  • +1
    • nice find. looks like i'll be keeping mine then (was considering as present)

    • Do these even have proper volume control? Missing an absolute essential feature, these could not be anywhere near "the best" for me.

Who wants to keep reaching for their device to adjust volume? Whether exercising or not, independent volume control in-line is a must for on-the-go listening (for me anyway).
