Great to see things you work towards come to fruition, and you guys are the first to see it. This deal is for everything storewide, including Apple products. The only exception is gift cards. Enjoy your day :)

I know what you mean & just in time for Christmas. Thanks TA.
Good work TA!
Nice one! :D
Can we get cashback on using cashrewards.com.au? Cashinception?
don't forget that the catalogue savings go live Thursday (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/222609)
Does anybody know if cashrewards works when using a mobile phone to purchase - say using Chrome on android? @tightarse?
I use pink.org.au for my cashback and made a purchase on safari for iPhone and it worked just fine. I was skeptical too though.
$3.95 a month? No thanks.
He probably got this - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/199723
I do most of shopping on my iPhone and CR has always fracked.
if cashrewards works when using a mobile phone
Yep, works via mobile :)
I always use cashrewards on my phone but I usually use the desktop site using chrome just to be sure.
Good news.
Bad news just bought stuff on Big W last week.
Potential good news. Does it work with Staff Discount card?? Now that would be amazing
And confirmation Staff Discount works fine.
So 10% off for staff and 3.5% cashback, wowsers
Are we able to use bigw egift card at bigw online now? So we can take another 5% off.
Don't forget to buy your WISH gift cards for 5% off and then use Cash Rewards again when purchasing for another 3.5%. Total of 100 - (95 * 96.5) / 100 = 8.325% off after cashback.
i thought TA stated "The only exception is gift cards."
so doesnt work right?
Cashback on purchasing gift cards does not work.
However, cashback on purchases paid by funding source: Gift cards (which you can pre-purchase for 5%) should work
how does cashrewards make money?
clearly Big-W are giving them more than 3.5% as a referral fee for customers coming from their site
They also use shareasale.com for a few international sites so they get their cut from each purchase.
I made an eBay purchase last week and my credits were not applied. Maybe that's one source of revenue - not crediting a percentage of users' cashbacks.
Id say it is, mine didn't apply either.
@KaptnKaos
Please don't make statements that are simply not true. There are many reasons your purchase may not have tracked. If you PM me your CR email address, I'll look into it right away.
Spoken like a true Rep.. you are one of them now.. aren't you… ;-)

I guess we are all a little protective of TA here
@FindMeADeal: Sorry that's not TA being a rep, that'd just the truth of the matter. On Sunday I bought six items of eBay to use my $50 eBay voucher that was going to expire. Yesterday I got six emails from Cash Rewards for each item detailing the amount I would be receiving back. I use Chrome on Windows 8.1 and can't remember the last time Cash Rewards had failed me. How about we first question what the user was doing than making unnecessary suggestive comments? Heard of PEBKAC? I'D SAY IT'S THAT.
@SBOB: his username is FindMeADeal (not FindYouADeal) so not surprising :D
@FindMeADeal:
Apparently TA has turned to the dark side LOL.I think the main problem with CashRewards is ultimately: who are they? and who do they account to, apart from themselves? Many consumers are putting trust in them and for some it's substantial amounts, and some are getting burned. When so many transactions seemingly aren't tracking it's only natural to wonder if it's all above board. We are OzBargainers after all, and not in the business of being "scammed".

Ensure you are logged into Cashrewards and your cookies are turned on. Log-in and shop at any of the participating Cashrewards stores by clicking on the 'Go To Store' or 'Start Shopping' button.
Another hint …interrupting your shopping session by closing the window, performing searches on other sites, clicking pop-ups, turning off cookies, visiting your social networking home page, and other sidetracks are examples of things to avoid that may mean that the recording process is disrupted and you may not receive your Cashback.
And importantly using coupons from any other source, other than those coupons listed on this site, may mean that your rewards will not be awarded.
Pro tip (If time permits):
1. add your item(s) to the cart.
2. close web browser completely
3. open web browser and log in to CR.
4. Go to ebay via CR to complete your purchase (and like naira said dont visit other sites)I think of CR as a bonus rather than relying on it.
check ur firefox setting, it happened to me……. then I have to use IE (hate it but never miss a beat)
@KaptnKaos
I've responded to your PM. For others in this forum, please note you need to allow up to 7 days for email tracking notifications. Thanks. TA.
Thanks very much TA.
Never had a problem with CR showing purchases made, in fact it is often within minutes (and in some cases before I have received the confirmation from the seller!).
Only issue I have had is the 5 - 6 month wait time to get the credit on travel. A bit of a way off of the quoted "Rewards that have been confirmed by the store and are available for payment. This usually takes between 4-12 weeks from your date of purchase however travel bookings may not be confirmed until 12 weeks after the completion of travel."
eBay purchases take about 5-7 days to receive the tracking email from CR.
For the record, I made my purchase in late November, it still hasn't appeared.
On the contrary I made about ten non-eBay purchases over the weekend and they've all appeared on CR. But, these purchases all had cashback amounts of less than $1 whereas my eBay purchase would've netted me at least $8.
Since late November I've also made 3 eBay purchases via flybuys eshops and they've all been tracked and recorded.
I'm not implying that any party is or isn't at fault, however these are the facts.
Too bad the products they outsource take a bloody long time to ship.
From my experience they take forever to ship, and then ship the wrong things anyway…
Do Bigw offer free shipping? It's a real turn off having to pay quite exxy shipping fees on their purchases. I must say it has been a while since I'ev bought online through them though
Great work TA.
Hello rep,
This is off topic but why things purchased with USD (tmart etc) will be given cash back for the AUD, amount you calculate the mount incorrectly, For ex: $100 USD, you treat it as $100 AUD for the calculation of cashback which is wrong. I have contacted you before but i still got the less cashback. Also you ddidn't follow the % return correctly for tmart. You should calculate it based on the purchased date % not the other %.
Hi dpk,
This clearly shouldn't be the case, can you PM me your CR user email and we'll fix that up.
Sorry for the hassle.
Andrew
Good job TA! Glad to see Big W finally improved their website!
Hi TA, would you be able to help me with transaction inquiry. I normally don't bother with a missing small cash back but this is a big one, $700 purchase from eBay with 3.5% cash back promotion. I sent an enquiry via the website, got an email confirmation on Nov 25th but haven't received any reply till now. Thanks.
Please PM me your CR email address.
Thanks, PM'ed.
I still haven't got my cashback confirmation from the ebay purchase I made yesterday. How long does it normally take?
its very hard to read, isnt it
It can take up to 7 days to post to your Cashrewards account.
Sometimes it appears immediately.
So I take it that this is for all online purchases made from the BigW online store?
Pity as most items I choose are not available to click and collect. So games and consoles bought online with BigW are not actually sold by BigW but another company called "movies and games plus" as part of their Market Place - warranty returns etc are through them and not BigW. (plus they are $50 more expensive than BigW instore for PS4.)
"The Marketplace seller will manage and support your order, including shipping and handling, exchanges and returns."
Was there a question hidden in there? Are you asking if CashRewards work for DVD sales through Movies and Games Plus?
Wonder if TA can give us an answer, CR website doesn't specifically state cashback won't be paid for these items.
Nah, more a comment so people don't think they are actually buying consoles from BigW itself. Returns / warranty etc need to go through this other company on the Gold Coast and not BigW. (different to instore, that is all BigW). Plus it was more expensive online than instore ($50) so 3.5% cashback wasnt great from them..
How long does it usually take for cash rewards to actually be available for payout? I have over $100 sitting their unavailable but there is no indication of when it will be available.
Varies depending on the shop. The 'confirmation time' is noted on each shops page on the CashRewards website. Some can be up to ~100days as it is based upon the individual stores return policy.
Unrelated, but is Cashrewards using cookies to track our purchases TA? Made a few purchases recently and received an email from Cashrewards about cashback when I didn't go through the website.
Hi Clear. Any chance you could please PM me your CR email address. Would love to investigate this. Thanks!
Has the 3.5% promotion finished? CR website is only showing me 2.8%.
I shouldn't be excited about such things, BUT I AM.
