        Not sure I understand. What is bluetooth? LIFX?
        I thought LIFX use WiFi?

        MiLights use a proprietary (all over the web) 2.4GHz protocol that goes back to a remote or WiFi controller.

  I have one of these they are good but they cant be used in enclosure's so only in open lamps plus they are big so better check your fittings.

  I purchased a few for myself and a few to give as gifts… they arrived today. So far so good, I installed one as an ambient light for my display fish tank, for when the main lights are off (previously used a 3w LED globe, so you can still see the fish without blasting the room with light after hours), and another in a kiddie bedroom. Now the fun part - see what happens when the rest of the family discover them!
