What Is My Data Allowance Pls?

Hi,

I've just moved to an optus plan. This is a screenshot of the myoptus app. What is my data allowance? Is it 10GB + extra GB @ $10 each or 11GB?

It looks like you have 11GB included in your plan, the bit at the end is just telling you that if you go over the included 11GB you will be charged $10 per 1GB thereafter.

Possibly, if you have only just connected it might also be a pro-rata amount they've given you due to the way the billing cycle works. Wait until it rolls over into the next month and you will see what your ongoing quota is going to be.

I suppose it could be initial, like end, postpaid shenanigans - I experienced a little bit of that on one plan recently; or adventurous rounding-up of 10,240MB allowance for initial display; or display sneakily incorporating that inline '1GB for $10' excess to encourage people to go over. Dodgy if so.

Then again, maybe you accidentally availed yourself of a "1GB extra per month for however many months - just for DJ's" sign-up offer.

Or, maybe you are just lucky, Wiki.

10GB does make for quite a few youtube videos, and returned-pouty snapchats, in any case.
