seems like a pretty good deal for someone wanting to buy a subscription anyway.

yes. I just applied it to my existing account… however, it is 6 months from the time your original account was opened.
Therefore, it may be better just to export your data and re-import to your new account
Great tip.
When you say you applied it, where exactly? D
nice work Op!
Actually anyone using Online Accounting can have a look at Sage One as well much cheaper than Xero.
Currently they offering $99 for 12 months
Is it any good?
Also there's Wave Accounting, which is free.
Sage is very good Multi-National and already have very big market in Account and payroll softwares internationally.
Their help-desk is great and its total value of money not sure about Wave.
How does it compare to Xero? I've been using Xero for a few years now and am very happy with it except for the price. Not happy with that at all.
Its a long comparison and difficult one if any mistake pardon me
With Sage one in $99 for one year you get

The only difference i can see is you getting only 1 user with Sage one and each additional user will cost you $3 per month. But question to ask how many users going to access your account information i dont see more than 1 in normal case. For rare small business there might be more than 1 user handling your accounting information.
Xero give you 1 employee payroll for their basic package. and 10 for premium where they charge you $60 per month.
But Sage one gives you 5 employees payroll included in standerd extras.
Xero gives you unlimited users but hey need to ask your self how many users you think will access your accounting information for Small to Medium business.
Thank you so much.
If you have an accountant, it may be easier (and cheaper in the long run) to use what they are using.
Definitely easier… for the accountant!
But migrating to Xero from MYOB last year was one of the worst things we did. Even today, after they finally got inventory control, I find that it's still missing some basic functionality.
Of course, it was our accountant that suggested the move, along with a lot of her other accounts, which has now made her career gold partner!
Accountants would get a kick back form Xero.
Absolutely. And I personally know that Xero have been aggressively gifting their successful resellers!
Ps. The Xero app is the biggest p.o.s. app out there too (very limited). Just use the desktop ver!
Been using Quickbooks Online. You can pay for it using a Play Store Subscription billed to your telstra prepaid account. Normally $15 per month :)
I just started using Inovice2Go, not impressed at all, was thinking of sticking it out until next tax period then switching to Xero
Not sure about Invoice2Go, but see if you can trial Xero before taking the plunge!!!
Yeah, issue is it is a lot of work to convert all my clients, invoices, etc..so as my business grows I can then consider the uprgrade to Xero
And yeah thanks for the advise, I will trial it first
does this work on existing accounts?
