I'll wait this time. in the Last deal, I paid $20 only followed by reduced price for $15 a day later!
yeh the day before the code ended it was $15 …. apparently in some stores its currently $10 for the remaining
You raise a very valid point, at the current advertised price it's still $37.50 per carton, around what the RRP should be for a domestic beer.
Price still hasn't dropped on this!
Just a small heads-up; don't believe the reviews on danmurphys.
Last time the cascade blonde was on sale, I've bought some based on reviews (and it was dirt cheap).
It's pisswasser. With near-perfect 5 star rating. How about that.
So I've posted my own review - and it never got published. (I've reviewed stuff before, and they were reviews with "good" ratings, they all went through in a day or two)
So yeah, be aware, they seem to filter reviews on danmurphys.
I reckon they filter reviews on most sites.
Why would a website publish bad reviews on products they sell.
Dont think i have ever seen bad reviews on officeworks either.
Why would a website publish bad reviews on products they sell?
Because people can usually suss these things out pretty quick, and that causes distrust for the customer. A good example is a hotel web site. It may not seem it's in my web sites interest to publish a cheaper hotel as getting 2.8/5 average reviews, would sell better if it got 4.2/5. However, if I go to another site and see the same one is 3.0/5 there, I now don't trust the first site is reviewing correctly, and am far less likely to purchase anything from them… unless it's a real bargain :)
Probably not a huge concern for DM though, as they probably don't currently fear the competition much.
very good point you have there.
either way i wouldnt trust the reviews, escpecially for beer.
everyone has their on preference of the type of beers they like.
While I don't agree with your view re: Blonde, I agree with your right to review it thus on DM's. In fact, I had my suspicions they held back poor reviews so thanks for confirming!
I got an invite to review from dan's the other day. I reviewed a couple of items 3 stars and mentioned the poor value. Took screenshots of my reviews so I can see if they publish/edit them.
Dont keep your hopes up!!
So the product i voted 3 stars on was rejected, while the product i breached review conditions on yet voted 4 stars was published! Hmmmmm
So should i wait?
I particularly like the pale ale more than the other one.
But if its going to becheaper tomorrow then im guessing i should hold off?
It won't necessarily be cheaper tomorrow. Going by the last short date sale, they could potentially drop in price a few days before the best before date - so sometime early December? The waiting game all depends on how badly you want it and how quickly it sells.
How do I get free delivery?
Edit: NM, it removes the delivery fee at the payment screen (not the cart scree, or the checkout screen, waits till the payment screen….which is a bit silly imo)
Dont forget to mention free delivery!
