No, it was down to $129.99 briefly, I'm holding out for that again, given it's Black Friday week
OW had the 3.5" Seagate Expansion 4Tb for $189 a few months back though I believe that was the older model and no doubt run out pricing.

if you are referring to laptops, no it won't fit, as this is a double height 2.5" drive - basically 2tb x2 in a single enclosure.
I think you're referring to the 4TB Backup Plus Fast, a different model. This has a single 4TB SMR drive in it (ST4000LM016) that is 15mm high.
You're right though, it won't fit in a normal 2.5" laptop bay.

I was thinking of using it as a data drive in destop system. 2.5 inch HDDs tend to run quieter and cooler.
