Also the Optus Lumia 640 is available at Kmart for $129

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/220074

    • Yeah but you can't add a $21 item for free @ Kmart

  • Some other great deals here if you feel like adding any more to your post http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/39370/34981/image.png

  • the L550 should be out soon
so the 640 will come down more as the 550 competes against it

    • Thanks mate for the tip. I will hold off buying a 640. Prefer the telstra locked version instead for an aldi sjm.

      • This is still a great price
        for the phone specs
especially official W10 come in the next few weeks
and this phone is one of the first to receive it

      • Aldi SIM does not work with Telstra locked phones.

  • Wow it looks like some good Xbox bundles are coming for Xmas

  • Ordered the Xbox Entertainment Bundle, tried price matching at EB but they wouldn't, and JB Hi Fi could only do it for $565. There's no way to make it cheaper, as I found out:

Signed up to the newsletter to get the voucher, email arrived after 20 minutes or so:
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/newsletter/

The code was "Welcome25Y5DTIB" but "WELCOME25Y5DTIB" also worked.

However once I applied it to the cart, the price went UP from $494 to $635, breaking the bundle price and only discounting everything by $25.

Two live chats to Zak and a call to HN Online with Candice (Candace?) later, the reason it doesn't work is that it's a super bundle put into the system that has no margin at all on it, and even though its price is red on the website like other console bundles vs black regular prices, those other bundles DO work with the code.

There's also no way to swap out the included games, not online or by calling the store, even those extraneous to the GOW/Rare/Ori/Xbox.

So a good deal, but a waste of time trying to get the voucher to work. I was told they would try and update the listing to be more clear but something to keep in mind in the future when a deal appears too good to be true.

    • Ok thanks m8, I will edit post :) Looks like the voucher refuses to work on any bundled items

Really appreciate you taking the time to go through the prices with AMEX, TRS etc.

      • thank you

    • Does it mean JB HiFi price is a rip off or this is a bargain?

      • It will be back to $496 tomorrow. this price ends tonight.

    • Thanks. Just bought one for $323.

    • Specs at HM doesn't say anything about RAM
