    Wish the xl was supported

    • They really messed up on that one. Really should have made the XL version the one with swap-able covers IMO.

      • That version will probably release next year.

Nintendo seem to have figured out the formula on how to milk you.

Release a gimped 3D handheld with a terrible viewing angle. A few years later release a model that fixes it and has a faster processor so it can have exclusives that won't play on standard 3DS.

No face plates on XL? Wait till next year's refresh.

The US didn't get the standard size at all (with a BS reason as to why), so they had to buy XL… unless they release the standard N3DS model with face plates next year.. so you can buy a 3rd 3DS if you're a sucker.

I've bought 2 myself. The finish on the white N3DS looks cheap as all F. They made it so that you really really don't want to be using the included plates, and have to shell out for a face cover (which would only cost a dollar if the chinese decide to make knock offs).

        • Yeah They've got the system down. Now if they'd just release a XL model thats stock region free I'd buy that!
Until then I need to go get a standard XL so I can play my imports. Also I only wanted the swapable face plate one so I can make my own face plates. Get a nice see through face plate from china and make a design with a nice high quality laser printer and you can make whatever you want.

I wonder if the 3D printing sector of the internet has started making 3D face plates yet you could do some really intricate face plates with those.

  • Is there a way to check stock per store on their website?
