    LOL,Yes. my actual samsung charger broke a few weeks back,it no longer charges my s6 fast. though i was thinking if the pad is enough to fast charge my phone,i won't buy the charger.

      Fast charger wont make the pad charge any faster.

      If you have an S6 you can buy the fast charger wireless pad, otherwise you're stuck with the standard one for now unless you buy an adapter that attaches to your battery.

      So, in summary, using them together won't make it charge faster. It's governed by the charging speed of the wireless pad.

        I've got the s6+ the adapter that came with it broke (it used to fast charge my phone,now it's standard cable charge)

  I've had one of these, to fast charge you need the fast charge power adapter, plus the fast charge pad.

  Even though the pad says 'Fast charge', it only works for the s6 Edge+. All other s6 variants will charge at normal rate because it doesn't have the updated components to do a wireless fast charge.

      Looks like 9V at 1A, so 9W max.

      Close to the usual 5V at 2A that you usually get, through a normal wired charger.

      A Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 charger could do about double that, 18W.
