Amaysim Datapack

Hi Guys,

In reference to this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/219043

I have an unused Amaysim SIM card with me(which is still active, but currently not on any plan). What is the best way to avail this offer

1) Port my number to some other network and port back in - I've asked this question to their representative on live chat and they suggested that it won't work as the account will not be deleted.

2) Order for a new SIM while buying this plan.

Please help.

Thanks in advance

  • You have an unused sim card, it's active, but not in any plan? How is that possible?
Why would you want to port your number to other network and port it back in to amaysim?
What exactly are you trying to achieve?
    Order a new sim?????
Maybe I'll apologize in advance for reading this before going to bed, but I just cant see it

I have used that SIM card for 2 months and haven't recharged it. The number will still be valid for 90 days i think.. however i dont pay them on a monthly basis.

just to avoid the process of ordering and getting it delivered.

  • You're trying to pretend to be a new customer while keeping your old number is that it? Since your existing SIM is unused why do you care about keeping that number?

    • yes, just to avoid the process of ordering and getting it delivered.

      • Don't bother, delivery is fairly fast. In the time it took you to post and read the replies you could have had your SIM.

  • Reset your account to nil by requesting that it be closed with the unneeded services; typically a quick process when you've finished using them.
