Last Mile Logistics Offering Shipping from $0.0125 Per Kg

60

Hey guys,

I started a logistics company in the aim of helping small businesses and e-commerce stores deliver small-medium sized goods at a much lower cost than what Australia Post is currently offering.

How it works is, the price starts at $1 (This equates to $0.0125 per kg), and the price will go up with every purchase. This $1 will allow the business to ship 20kg per week, for 4 weeks.

I’d like to give OzBargainers priority in our early access page.

If you run an e-commerce store and are interested please fill out this form -> https://golastmile.typeform.com/to/JJ1yOV or share it with anyone you think is interested.

  • Parcels will be collected and delivered once per week.

The current Live Price offer will allow each business to ship up to 20kg per week, with no minimum limit. However, we are currently only servicing businesses requiring shipping from Melbourne metro to Sydney metro, and same city shipping (Melbourne only).

  • The description is confusing as is the maths. Starts at $1 but gets more expensive with every purchase ( by the client or all clients? and the applicable locations and terms like once a week collection should have made it to the description.

    • Once a business purchases the deal for $1, thats all it will cost that business for that month. The price will then rise to $6, the next purchase will be at $6.

      • So what happens after week 4? Does the price reset to $1 and the price cycle starts again?

  • generally companies are started to make money. this doesn't sound like it would make any money

  • Sounds interesting - anyone in Melbourne keen to ship something to me (Sydney) or vice versa to see how reliable the network is?

  • Absolutely beautiful site, great job. It's an interesting concept, but how the Live Price works isn't very clear.

  • Was interested, until I saw that it's not global.
