  the web design and english on the website leaves a lot to be desired.
  there seem to be hundreds of film fests running round oz every year.
  this one talks big but i would like to see how it goes in its first year before paying up front.
  looks a bit amateur.

    i hace a feeling that the distributors and studios logos used on the site are put there without their permission…..which they dislike intensely.

    also the fest starts in less than a month and there is no program guide or any film listings at all. zilch. it just says there is an opening night party etc. sponsors need only cough up 40,000$ for naming rights lol.

    i think its a bit rich asking people to pay even $14 up front when we dont even know what films will be shown or even locations.

      Locations is listed as "Reading Cinemas - Dandenong" - doesn't leave me feeling inspired about the calibre / size of this event.

      We started film selection months ago, this festival will screen 9 selected films, all the selected films are signed contacted with WIFF. The ticket page will be finished soon so that you will know which film we will screen in Melbourne.

    Don't confuse this with the Melbourne International Film Festival. This is a newish (and rather weird) festival being run in Dandenong.
