The upcoming catalogue from Kmart (starting 04.02.2010) lists a Rock Band instrument and game bundle for $69 (PlayStation 2/3 only).

The bundle consists of:
1 x Rock Band guitar
1 x Rock Band drum kit
1 x AC/DC Live game for PS2 or PS3

Note that the purchase 'must be in the same transaction', so I'm assuming this is a bundle that Kmart has thrown together rather than a pre-bundled instrument and game kit.

I think there may have been previous bundles which were cheaper than this, but I guess it's a pretty decent deal for those who may have missed out.

    Just 69 bucks? Were there cheaper offers? I thought $98 or something was the cheapest bundle of this sort…

      Yeah man there were way cheaper offers, on boxing day … You could have gotten this deal for if i remember correctly $49 from Kmart or for $42 from JB which just had the drums, guitar and mic. There was another deal which was Target for around $40 ( Might have been $38) which also included the mic,drums and guitar.

      I must have quite a bad memory to not remember only to then .. what must you all think.

    Isn't that Wii bundle quite good as well? Mario Kart + Wii is 60 bucks + two random 20-or-so-bucks games (not counting Wii Sports) means you are getting the console for 280! Or does anyone know a better offer?

    Only AC/DC bundle. When I went to Kmart last time they had this deal. The AC/DC game wasn't popular at all. plenty of copies left over. So if you get this there shouldn't be any chance of the package being sold out. Agree the boxing day xmas special for $49 was a much better deal. with choice of unpopular AC/DC or popular Rock band game.

    They had this for $49 over Christmas. Most Kmarts sold out but I picked one up for the 360 at the Kmart in Moonee Ponds.

    $20 for Dead Space Extraction is heaps good. That's a pretty new game.

    I grabbed this bundle today. One thing the brochure doesnt mention is that each one of them can be purchased seperately for $30. So one item is $30, two items are $60 and three items are $69.
