Anyone has experience with the accuracy of this particular unit?
Omron is a really reputable brand - recommend it all the time (work in a pharmacy). All omron models measure accurately, they just have more functions and a different cuff as you go up in the range.
We use this model in our pharmacy to measure patient's BP in-store. Seems to do the job well.
Yes I have this model at home. Seems to work very well.
Thanks for the feedback guys :)
Just a reminder - If you have private extra health fund, check your policy as often blood pressure monitor can be covered with doctor's referral.
I vageuly remember a Made in Japan Omron one which sells for around the same price as this one at Costco.
I'm pretty sure this one is either made in China or vietnam.Costco have a omron for $99. It has a smaller arm cuff though
Ah, must have been on a coupon awhile back so it was around the same price.
$10 off with entertainment book too
Monitor your blood pressure when reading ozbargain :)
Good Price. I bought this 3 mmonths ago for around $100. The result is always hit and miss ( variance between 5-15 for SYS) and therefore, I always take 4 readings just to make sure I could get the average results. I used to own A&D brand before the air pipe broke and the results were always accurate ( out of 2 readings ).
Bought one from eBay for $54 delivered http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Omron-Automatic-Classic-M2-Digital-…
This is not the same model
Apologies, my one has 21 memories instead of 30.
Here is the correct model for $62 delivered.
But that's from UK…not local. Pass.
Sorry thats m2 model and its cuff is very short (only 32cm) i couldnt use this model as the cuff was too short for my arms
very good brand. bought this for mom last year for $89. good price.
does anyone know if this comes with a option to connect to AC adapter or is one included or does it only run on batteries ?
works with AC adapter but AC adapter not included.
thank u for that
my experience is they run for yonks on aa batteries. works on using rechargeables as well.
this model has quite a small memory (30 readings)
you also need to check that the cuff size is appropriate for your arm
My friend got a machine with a cuff to small. He starved himself for two months DJ that his arm was small enough.
It suits upto 42cm. Mine is 39cm and im using it with no issues
Thanks OP.
