    Got my vodafone sim today. I'm not happy that they are charging 10c per Mb if you go over the 1.5Gb data allowance. So 1Gb over is $100. Used to be 25c per Mb but these days most carriers charge $10 per Gb which is extremely reasonable.

      yeah, very unfair I think with charging per MB over quota, but I got offered by tpg very cheap $16.99 (as I have adsl with them), call incl international, and 1.5GB too.
      still good I will stay with tpg

          month to month of course. tpg doesn't have contract I think.
          call, sms (local and internt) for $550 per month.
          usually last week of the month I call overseas for like $100 worth.
          oh and the above tpg offer is on voda 4G

          @eisniwre: Same here, my wife and I got offered the same new plan you got. She never uses her mobile to call and at the end of the month we use that credit to call our families overseas.

          @brentman1: clarification - Jeenee don't do international services. You can't pay for them, even if you're willing.

          It's not a failure to read between the lines (if you even know what that means) - but stating no inclusions may imply the option is there if you're willing to pay for it.

          No reference was made about any inclusions on other deals or whatever. You've read that into what I've written. It was a response to the rep.

          I'm with Jeenee and I'd be happy to pay slightly rip-off rates for the rare times I need to dial or sms an international number, but that's simply not an option unless they've recently changed.

          Now… if rep could be nice enough to verify…

    Essentially the same as the standard Vaya $18 plan ($650 credit is unlimited calls for most situations). Same network, no contract, $10 / Gb over the allowance etc.
    Have been happily with them for quite a while now.

    Once this deal's plan goes back to normal pricing it goes from decent value to poor value IMO.

        Vaya are probably the worst phone company in the country, just take a look at whirlpool and the masses of complaints on there about poor service and billing issues…

      Received email this morning from tpg to change from Optus to Vodafone with pricing.
      $16.99 per month includes $550 standard Intl calls and text.
      unlimited calls to tpg mobile,home and voicemail.
      1.5GB data. excess data:10c per MB and
      4G 1800/850 MHz
      And 2 months free for existing TPG broadband.
