Yeah we've said in the previous deal they're good pizzas, better than other brands.
I recently bought some from Coles and they are now horrible. Way too oily and could taste the "frozen" flavour. Not sure if it was a bad batch of them or not :(
Check the back for country of manufacture. I find the the ones made in Germany better than the Australian made ones
Now I feel silly for getting a raincheck on the Coles ones from last week.
Any truth to the rumor that Dr Oetker is an evil heart surgeon, making food to guarantee supply of patients?
Here he is Dr Nick Oetker lol - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlmECL2ED2I
Mmmmm mass-produced frozen pizza.
We always "top them up" with extras- grated cheese, cooked bacon/leftover meats, sundried tomatoes, some chopped herbs, & whatever else goes. It's a good base, & basically ok pizza, just needs more topping.
Why don't you just buy pizza bases if you are going to all that effort?
We do that, too. Depends if we want to start from scratch, or not.

Can anyone confirm/deny the coffee pods for sale at $1.69 will work with the Lavazza A Mio Minu from this deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/205926?page=3#comment-2968…
Wow that is a good deal. No idea if they fit the Minu though.
Yeah it would be an astounding deal if it worked, especially seeing you can freeze the pods. If so, my freezer will be full of pods very soon. I really hope someone out there can yay or nay it!
From my quick research I DO NOT think these pods fit the mio modo lavazza machines, only the 'Caffitaly' type machines http://www.productreview.com.au/qa/saeco-lavazza-a-modo-mio.…
what are the expiration dates on these? is it okay to stock up?
They freeze well.
Yeah I was wondering what the expiration date was as well. They might just be a bad production run that they had tho eg didnt put enough sauce on or something like that. Cos theres some reason why theyre at these stores.
Absolutely.
You can imagine it yourself at the factory.
"Boss boss, Harry had the preservative at three times the correct level on batch 74."
"No worries Frank"
"OK people mark Batch 74 to be separated for NQR"Lol yeah thats probably exactly what happens :)
This brand is excellent. We usually grab the pepperoni one and just shove a little extra mozzarella, salami, and slices of tomato on top and it comes out awesome in the oven. The other brands end up tasting like crap. Certainly more enjoyable than dominos etc.

Are these any good? Has anyone tried it?
