4 Furby Boom Crystal for $110 @ Mr Toys

40

These have been $29.99 each for a while now, see previous deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/204246

However I guess they are having issues shifting them, the stores I have been to have pallets full of them, and so they are now being sold 4 for $110.

Four pack contains 2 Aqua Ears Furby Boom, 1 Yellow Ears Furby Boom and 1 Purple Ears Furby Boom.

Can't say I want 4 of them in the house, 1 is bad enough, but might be an OK gift for relatives you don't like much :)

  • Must be some people chasing them lol look at the Ebay prices!

I'll upvote coz I can see it's cheap, but no way in hell am I buying any :P

    • Yes still much higher priced at most other stores.

    That's a pretty bad discount for buying 4 of them… $2.40 off…

    • The original Mr Toys price was already a large reduction over the usual… But yes you would not buy just to get the deal.

  • If they lowered it to $100 shipped Australia-wide I think a lot of people would jump on. Just that little bit too much to spend on Furbys and not much of a deal compared to the before price.

Well it's been 4 months now, perhaps they will cut their losses and try to flog them cheaper in the coming months.

Can you teach them to have a 4-way knife fight with each other?

Only if you feed after midnight.

From a household of two Furby toys, note very wisely: there is no off switch. There is a very complicated methodology to force them to sleep, but when you just want the thing to shut up then and there, there is no switch.

Words from someone who sounds like they have been to the edge, let us be warned.

    • Are the batteries easy enough to take out?

      • Screwdriver required. Small Phillips head screws so a butter knife isn't going to cut it (pardon the pun), thinner steak knife works if it doesn't have a super pointy tip.

    • Can't you just lay them on their back to get them to sleep? Totally agree that there is no mute button to get them to shut up.

Don't know if anyone else has noticed but Furby toys are banned on Qantas planes!

  • The Star Wars themed Furbacca is $100.00 so it makes these much more attractive.
