I'm posting for the first time. I performed a search through the old topics and could not find anything regarding this.
Movie tickets. Is there any sort of special that you are aware of to get cheap tickets?
I remember a while ago, I could get $10 movie tickets for adults through Optus - instead of paying $18.50 per ticket.
Is there any sort of permanent deal that people are aware of?

If you buy the Entertainment Book, that also has cheap movie tickets. I think you order them online for $11 each, and you have to order at least 4. The entertainment book costs about $65 but easily pays itself off with all the cheap vouchers.
Telstra member tickets sadly went up in price at the start of this month.
There are a few deals on event cinema cards at the moment if you do a search, $40 for a $50 card for example, and then stack it with the cheaper telstra tickets.

The $2sim + Telstra ticket seems like the best solution to me!
Currently eventcinemas are offering 20% off the face value of $50 cards which are $40 each, combine this with Telstras $12.50 tickets which was $11 a week ago. Telstra only gives half of cinebuzz points, if you want full amount of points, use entertainment book, these tickets can also be used on Saturdays.

Sadly $10 tickets don't exist anymore as tickets increase over time every year.
optus still has hoyts tickets.
I know bupa members get cheap event cinemas tix.
