Extremely popular deal the last time it was posted, today it is once again on sale. 62 cents more expensive, and only Indigo at this price, though I still felt this was worthy of posting. I personally got it in the last deal, and am really happy with it.

How does the chill compare to the ice version.?
Both are pretty cool.
Ice is apparently much more effective at maintaining lower temperature for longer.
But … unless you are going for a 3 hr bike ride and expect to only have a micro-sip every now and again .. its entirely moot.
Its far more likely you will have drunk the entire contents well before you would notice that degree-or-two difference between both model types

You will need to de-smellify this unit. There is a noticeable plastic aftertaste.
One method is to use a weak bicarb of soda solution, and let that stand for a while .. then rinse repeatedly with plain water .. and finally use water mixed with a small amount of lemon or lime juice to help replace any lingering taste 'funkiness'.

The Camelbak valve is the best, by far & the chill ones are insulated to keep your drink cool. (i have 6 camelbak bottles, incl 2 chill)
Bad experience last time with the last DS Comelbak podium chill deal through their ebay store.
Ordered, check my local DS store to make sure they had stock, select click and collect, checkout and paid. Waited 2 weeks, no SMS or email to say item is ready to collect. Email them thru ebay, next day I got a call from the local DS store to say, sorry unfortunately we did not have stock, we are gonna give you a refund. Not happy Jan.
That's typical of them. I have had several orders rejected like this which has led me to boycott DS altogether.
Why can't these places have free delivery to the store.
Click and collect only works of your store actually has stock……which they never do anyway.
