  • That's awesome! I wish they did it in Balmain… Ok well I'm going to look up if they're on shop small at least :) Already bought myself a box of chocolates from an awesome local chocolatier and had dinner out at an awesome local pub. Love shop small!

  • +1

I did this for ashburton last night.

  • Just a headup. The Williamstown branch won't accept phone voucher.

    • What do you mean? They want you to print it off and show it to them so you sit there for 15 minutes while they make the pizza?

    • just saying this because when I ordered, the girl I spoke to just said, "yep I know the voucher". I had it ready just in case.

Technically, if you have the shop a docket app, you can just save the voucher to the app (single use) and you're good - not sure why they won't accept it.

Finally, the last resort (that I don't recommend) is to go through the self checkout at woolies, buy one onion, but put it through as multiple one cent transactions and get a metre worth of shop a dockets. But nobody is that crazy, even on Ozbargain, right?

      • I explained to the guy at the cash register that the voucher is available at the shopadocket.com.au website for anyone to download and use. He called up his boss (not sure if he got through) and confirmed that he is only allowed to accept the original physical voucher you get from the supermarket receipt. Apparently, this is to prevent people from passing around the electronic voucher. I ended up having Parma at The Spottiswoode. $20 dinner for two after $10 Amex Shop Small cashback.

It's their loss. The whole idea of promotion is to get people through the door. I'm considering emailing Shop A Docket but not sure if it's worth the effort.
