Went to Bunnings and saw this for the same price as the brush edition. Normal price is around $175.

If you are in Sydney, you can ask Sydney Tools for price match (they are selling for $190).

The DeWalt 18 Volt DCF886 Compact Brushless Impact Driver uses brushless motor technology for improved runtime and durability. It features a 3 LED 'Halo' ring that provides maximum illumination of the work piece.

The Impact driver has a 6.35mm 'drop in' keyless hex driver to allow quick, one-handed fitment. The aluminium front housing provides greater heat dispersion, helping to increase motor life. An ergonomic handle and rubber overmold reduces vibration and user fatigue.

    This is the lower spec model. The 895 is the three speed brushless.

    Still, decent price for a great piece of kit.

    Great price for brushless. I've got the three speed DCF895 which is very handy but the model in this deal is just as good spec wise but only runs a single speed.

      How long is a piece of string. Yes.

      See ebay where you can buy batteries that go to 5.0Ah and chargers to suit. The 5.0Ah batteries weigh and are sized the same as the 3.0Ah and 4.0Ah batteries.
