I bought these a few months back, they're awful. The headset is a (FM I guess) radio. The base station can broadcast FM but ugh the sound quality is terrible.

The base takes batteries and you have to remember to switch it off or it will run them flat broadcasting silence. The headset is difficult to tune (I think there's just a "seek upward" button) and overall you will immediately wish you had spent your $16 on a really long headphone extension cable.

Don't buy.
