I'm struggling to see any of these 'New User' codes as deals. Was good when Uber was first here, but there's that many free codes out there, and I'd assume that most people who were going to try Uber have probably done so already. To me it's almost in the same basket as a free Qantas Frequent Flyer signup.
Considering Uber has only started up in Canberra last week (the purpose of the code) this is great for us in the ACT.
