What is Grace For Vets?

The mission of Grace For Vets, a non-profit organization, is to honor those who have served or are currently serving their country. This international program unites the car wash industry each year on November 11. Whether observing Veterans Day, Remembrance Day or Armistice Day, we unite together as a whole, and provide FREE car washes to ALL veterans and service personnel.

Founded in 2004 by a single car wash operator, the program has grown from just a handful of washes to several thousand, in 4 countries. The program's founder, Mike Mountz, was inducted into the International Carwash Association's Hall of Fame in 2010.

      Most won't be able to redeem it as they'll be at their local parade in the morning, a few beers at the RSL afterwards, and then they catch a cab home…

        Plenty of vets no longer serving will however. I would use this offer but how do I prove my 15 year Army Career and claim my free wash at an unmanned carwash where you put coins into a machine? Can I slip my veteran's affairs medical card into the credit card slot? (joking there BTW).

    Awesome offer, I'll be taking advantage at Synergy in Highett which is my go to car wash when I'm breaking OzBargain rules and paying for something I could do myself.

    Turned away at Rapid Wash Express Aspendale Gardens, pretty disappointing.
