This is a great example of a toy that gets used a couple of times then just takes up space in the garage, usually uncharged, while the kids are out using the old fashioned scooter. At least that is my experience with stuff like this.

Someone negged you. Probably someone without kids.

Wife wanted 2 of these for the kids last Xmas. She was looking at some brand for $250 a pop. EBay had generic ones 2 for $170 delivered. Kids loved them for 5 minutes . probably been used once this year. Now they sit there unused.

I have two of these (Razor brand ones, actually) sitting in my shed. I bought them cheap via eBay off someone who had them sitting in his shed.

I think that the purpose of these devices is to sit in sheds. I have no idea why they have pictures of kids riding them on the packaging!

Only requires 5 hours recharge time

    Only ???

Do you work in real estate?

    • That's plenty fast enough. One 5 our charge will likely last a month or more of use so no issue :) Well that's how long ours lasts on each charge. Although over winter the battery life is much better as one charge lasts for around 6 months lol

        Above it says…

Run time of up to 60 minutes from a single charge.

        • Correct. If you have kids in the target age group for these you will understand. Kids who also do competitive sports, kids who also have access to Netflix, tablets and the internet. Kids who also have bikes, trampolines, skateboards, game consoles etc. Kids who balance all this with school work.

I don't agree with the posts just above this thread (ie sits in the shed its whole life), but in my experience one 5 hour charge will often last a month or more. Although if its getting enough use that the 5 hour charge time is annoying, I am sure with a decent Pb charger it can be done in half the time or less.

  • Can't get postage charge to work on Ebay. Does anybody know what the postage cost is to Sydney metro?
