  • Anyone know if the shoes are like counterfeit or something? =S So cheap

    • no. They are originals.

Ive bought from them before. NB quality which is great.

Sennheiser RS 110 II Wireless RF Headphone System - there is a catch! You need to be a member and pay $49.

    • 7 day free trial - Unbilled. Then untick auto subscription in setting straight after

How do I leave Club Catch?
Leaving club catch is very simple, just navigate to your "Account" and open the "Club Catch" tab and select "Cancel Subscription". This function is available on web and mobile.

How does the free trial work?
The free trial gives you 7 days of free access to all club benefits. After the free trial, you will be automatically billed for your membership and receive 12 months of membership access.

      • Will joining the 7 day free trial forcing me to provide CC details?

        • +2

they already will have you CC details when you make a purchase

    • Sometimes I'm amazed that people are stupid enough to keep COTD in business.

When the free trial is used, I hope you can use an alternative mail address with same physical address to get another trial. Because I refuse to sign up at $50/yr when I can generally get the same prices on ebay without a subscription fee

Also, advice on using the free one week trial on the Sennheisers - don't. They are amazingly cheap (really is a deal), but all wireless headphones (I've owned philips and done extensive googling on the Sennheiser models) are junk. When you have a quiet spot in your song you will hear hissing. And IIRC lots of users have pops, cracks, that sort of thing.

Wow, show me another retailer that offers you these prices today and now.

Then come back and think about your comment

      • If they have any sense, the club catch trial will be linked to your credit card. I don't think it's that exorbitant for free shipping. If you order something every couple of months, and it'll work out fine.

The headphones ARE junk, it's old 90s tech RF. Basically an analogue radio transmitter and tuner. You'll want something digital like bluetooth.

        • Lets then see what 1300+ people think about it on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-RS110-Over-Ear-Wireless-Hea…

        • @easternculture:

          1) RF technology does suffer as stated above. Like it or not, it's a fact that RF is an analogue system and therefore has interference issues that present themselves as lossy or erroneous audio. Comparison: Try tuning in your radio.. I'll bet not every station is crystal clear.

          2) I've owned headphones on RF technology. Have you? When you look into the details on receivers/transmitters, you'll notice there's not really much difference than the size of the antenna.

          3) Have you looked at the amazon reviews?

The 1 star ratings indicate 13% dont work at all or fail imminently.
The 2 and 3 star ratings (17%) are half related to poor sound quality.
The 5 star ratings that do indicate good sound quality? I'm dubious. People who care about sound quality are rarely buying these headphones. And they are the people leaving the 2/3 star ratings.

I'd say you're taking a big risk with these.

I have no issue with you interpreting the reviews differently. None. So don't argue that point.

          @justtoreply:

lol this dude has something against COTD.

Like i said before, find a better deal for what i posted in my OP and then come back and we can talk. Otherwise go winge somewhere else

  • Sennheiser RS 110 II Wireless RF Headphone System - Can 2 headphones connect to the same receiver?

    • No
The RS 120 II allow 2 headphones to the same receiver not the 110 :(

      • I have two connecting to one base station with the RS 120 IIs but that works because the headphones are receiving the same analogue radio signal. I can't see why the RS 110s would be different, the main difference being that they aren't rechargeable. As far as I'm aware you could have a thousand of these tuned in to the one base station and all my neighbours could be listening to my TV viewing.

  • Good find, hard to see good price from COTD, I have a full drawer of headphones from other deals, but still bought two, one for TV one for music. Thanks

    • Let us know how they go for sake of the discussion above.

Some idea of what you already own so that we can work out your tolerance to interference/quality, distance that you hear hiss on a 'silent' track (keep in mind they auto-off quickly), that sort of thing.

      • I test the RS110, I can hear the hiss very clear, not happy at all. Build quality is good, sound quality is very bad for that brand and price, the noisy background is unacceptable.

        • Thanks for the feedback :)

Hands up people who haven't bothered with COTD since they introduced the Club Catch nonsense?

    • ive pickup up heaps of bargains.

      • Me too EC.

  • The RS-110 and RS-120 series are the worst headphones ever designed in the world. They are designed to fall off your head every time you look down or up due to the over-the-ear design and the off centre head-band. The German got the design horribly wrong with these. I believe it's even worth the money even at this low price. Unless you have a stiff neck then this design is perfect for you.

    Really bad design :(
