    heaps better than mission. I find the mission brand ones start breaking apart and flaking if you reheat them and they sit for a few minutes. you have very messy tacos dropping all over.

  I did a bit of fishing around - the restaurant is in Kensington, near the commission flats under the Tulla overpass/sound tunnel.

  Might go to the shop direct and see if they are as cheap or cheaper.
  otherwise the factory is in Derrimut.

    The restaurant is really good. I go there often.

    The same tortilla pack if you bought it in store would be $9.

    So this deal is essentially 50c per packet delivery charge min order $18.

        Take a look at the menu first - http://latortilleria.com.au/our-menu.php. not sure whether your kids would eat this stuff.

        Make a booking as the restaurant is pretty small. It's more grown up orientated but i think kids are fine.

      If you get 1 KG their website shows cost $16 for their 14.5cm tortillas.
      Plus they do a whole bunch of other sized tortillas by the KG too.

    How long do the tortillas last?

    La Tortilleria’s tortillas do not contain preservatives or additives, so we recommend you eat them within 2 weeks (if stored in a closed packet in the refrigerator). Once opened, they last about 6 days. Alternatively, keep them up to 3 months in the freezer.

    The tortillas last about 6 weeks unopened, or up to 1 week once opened if stored air-tight in the fridge. You can always freeze any left-overs you have. Unlike other tortillas out there, ours maintain their quality very well after freezing.

    How should I store my tortillas?

    In a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.In the cupboard or in the refrigerator works fine. Once opened, store in an airtight bag in the fridge for up to 7 days, or in the freezer for 4 months.

    Always make sure the tortillas are air-tight. Air is the enemy! Store your packet in the refrigerator. Once the packet is opened, store the tortillas in a ziplock bag or plastic bags with a knot in it, either in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. If frozen, remember to defrost fully before re-heating. If you have purchased hot fresh tortilla from us, please make sure you wait until the tortillas have cooled down before putting them in an airtight bag to prevent them going soggy.

  I note that this "deal" is only really when you buy two packs. I will be the only one eating these in my family, and I thought, sure, I can eat one pack before they go stale, but who can I give the other to?

  Then I thought…

  why not eat both?
