  • Does anyone have experience with Snapfish canvas quality?

    • Not canvas but their poster prints are top notch

    • Just had an order arrive this week of the 50x75 canvas. It was a bit of a test to see what it would be like.

      was pretty happy with it

    • I've got a few massive ones done, and they are good.

    • We have ordered a couple of times in the past. First time had to get one redone. Second time had to get another photo redone. They are not too bad, but done expect sharp image quality for canvas. Make sure if you are doing portraits, the people's faces are big enough as you will lose details and smaller pictures will come out blurry. Make sure you adjusted the photo brightness etc before you submit order. We haven't ordered from other places so can't compare their quality standard.

For their photobook, I'll won't be bothered ordering from them again as their quality is not good. Not sharp at all. Understand for canvas due to material is printed on, but photobook is paper so it should be sharp but not theirs. Even got them to reprocessed one because wasn't happy with quality, second one came out identical to the first.

      • Mine worked out to be very sharp. it may be partly due to photo quality submitted.

I find both their canva and photobook are very good quality for what the costs.

        • I submit my photos at full resolution from a 16mp camera. The photobook looks okay but not sharp as you can see the photos are grainy. So definitely nothing to do with the photos I have uploaded. You get what you pay for I guess. I'll probably try Blurb in future to see whether there's a lot of difference compare to snapfish.

With snapfish, I find that their quality control is not that great. You will need to complain to them to get it fixed, but the plus side is that as long you can show the defect to them, they will happily reprint your orders. We have printed normal photos out before but due to their calibration of their printers being off, the photos all had a yellow/orange tinge to it which also caused it to not be sharp. They reprinted it and was much better.

        • @j1568:

I see. 16mp phone camera? Maybe the reason.

Mine was off a raw image converted to jpg on full resolution.

I might be lucky. So far 2 large size canvas and 1 photobook turned out good.

        • @googleyahoo69: 16mp nex-6 with Zeiss lens. So definitely not my photos.

  • the normal books are pretty good
the premium ones are a step above again - you won't be disappointed

  • Is the premium photobook quality better than those offered by COTD/Groupon etc for photodeal or minibox? They are cheaper than this too . And how much is the postage for this ?

  • My large canvas just arrived and it looks amazing. $189.95 came down to $56.98, plus $12.95 delivery. Approx $70 for a good quality 50x75cm canvas.
