I have the 16000 and it's a big, heavy unit. Great device but I did the Ozbargain value for money purchase without considering what I really needed. A smaller unit would have suited me better
+1 to this. the 16000 just has a bit too much power… I went to Japan for 2 weeks and used it to power my pocket wifi + phones during the day. Didnt even need to charge it once. Probably better off with a lighter version and charge it at night with the rest of the gear.
I usually take it camping and what-not. Recently went away with a few (3) friends and took my power bank with me, it kept ALL our phones topped up for 3 days. In that situation it's the ideal solution, once home it had <25% charge left (I'd estimate about 10%), was perfect.
That aside, I do defiantly agree. If you need a personal powerbank to keep your phone topped off during the day you DO NOT need a 16000mAh. You're better off getting the thin 9.9mm xiaomi 5000mAh for that situation.
I bought the 10000 mah, will wait for price to come down further
