Does it take longer to charge via charging pad/mat?
that case says it for the LG Optimus G4 mini, is that the same as the G4 you bought (I read it to be more like the G3 beat that was the smaller version of the G3)
with the g3 most circle cases remover the wireless charging function (as its built into the rear cover that is removed with this case. Some do have it but not at $4.
You're right! Doh! I think in my rush to order a case and then get to bed before 1 AM, that I've probably ordered a case for the wrong phone, and wasted $4. I can no longer edit the original comment, but if I could I would delete that link, to prevent anyone else from making the same mistake.
Do you have any case recommendations? Looking for light, sturdy, non-bulky and compatible with wireless charging. Also, if I could edit my original comment, I would add 2 more cons that I've found with a bit more reading:
- Complications unlocking the bootloader, if you want to try custom ROMs (currently looks like only European H815 models can unlock the bootloader - we're almost certainly not getting the European version - and it voids your warranty).
- Not water resistant (not that I was expecting it to be).
my son has had a few cases for the LG G3 so far it seems he has problems with all off them regarding the headphone jack in that the hole isnt quite big eough - the pin connector fit but its the plastic around the earphone connector is too big and wont fit in the hole of the case (hope that makes sense.

the case you just linked to look nice and an Aus seller so you will get it quick. No idea about QI compatability though - not many were for the G3. Ask on whirlpool forums as they will know for sure.
the G3 and G4 feel so nice in the hand I think a case spoils it, so choose a nice slim line one .

Ok an update, mine was shipped on Monday night from Taiwan, has arrived today (Wednesday) through DHL!
So two to three day delivery from Taiwan to Perth.

I try to swap mine to Brown leather from Black but they aren't able to due to accounting system restrictions. I email them like an hour after I purchase on 16th October but they replied me on 17th October (promotion ended). Seller said the only way for me to purchase the brown one was to cancel my order so I can purchase from them in the correct listing. If they cancelled, then I would got no promotion code and no cashrewards. I have ask ebay for help and see if they can resolve this. If not I just going to get it and sell it away. Too much effort communicating with the seller. Just a simple colour change requires 2 email to seller, two chat with ebay customer service and then I need to write one more email to ebay customer service as advice by the chat options customer service. So over it..
I recommend you to buy a replacement back cover. It is about $30. Then just sell your black cover or leave as a spare one.
Nah, can't be bothered now and just opt for for full refund. I thought they were praised for services and now I have lost confidence with them. A simple swap would take them so much reluctance and I would be really worried if in future the phone run into some problem and require warranty from them.
Also, ebay ask me to cancel my order and repurchased from them as the CWEDDING20 code still available and I still got 2 out of 3 transactions to be used. I try it and shows redeption code expired. I doubt the EBAY Customer Service actually knows that the promotion ended on midnight on 16th Oct.

Going by an earlier post the phones bought from this deal should get it in a few days. As we got the H815 model which is the same as the ones used in Poland where M6 is released first. the article I read quoted in 7 days and that was last Friday. So it should be here for these phones soon.

I ordered mine on Thursday last week at around noon and did not receive any shipping details until I emailed the seller on Monday night at around 8pm..
I received a reply email very quickly with tracking number and eBay updated the status to shipped.. I was able to punch in the tracking number straight away in DHL and track it..
It left Taiwan and was cleared from customs at Sydney this morning. The estimated delivery is tomorrow before end of day.. Which sounds pretty possible..

I sincerely hope that they have already shipped the phone and it's on its way now but they haven't had the time to upload the tracking info to eBay. I have no other option but to suck it up lol as I don't think i can get a cheaper LG G4 than this deal…
That was my thinking, except I'm not going to send anymore messages, just wait for it arrive then neg them.
If they were being proactive about their communications and actively responding to queries, plus giving real answers, I wouldn't have a problem but they are being evasive and vague. The fact they replied in a passive aggressive tone stating "The T&C say 2-3 days handling" and I queried on day 4 is enough for me.
No reply as well, As eBay's record, they sold more than 2000 units in total during the promotion. Personally i don't believe a company would stock up so many units, therefore i assume they will need to restock/purchase for these orders. And if they do have that much in stock, dealing with more than 2000 shipments definitely needs some time, but at least they should reply. Nothing we can do… hopefully can get it by next week.
I think qd_au should throw in some bonus item to the package for all delayed deliveries as compensation. Otherwise people would tend to give negative feedbacks once they received the item and could jeopardise their excellent feedback rating so far.
That'd be nice, but I'd just be happy with them shipping it in the first place. And replying to my message.

I was one of the last who bought this phone (black leather cover) on 16th of October (the very end of the discount).
Now marked as sent. Unfortunately "sent" status without a tracking number does not mean that it is really sent. I hope for the best though :)
I was thinking the same thing, they've probably marked them as sent to shut us up, but they aren't actually dispatched. It will be interesting to see what the date/time on the tracking is (if we get a tracking number).

THIS may sound random but I bought a red leather from them which arrived to weeks ago. I returned it a week later with the glass screen protector applied as it was faulty.

You're so right! I stand corrected. I incorrectly assumed it was wireless charging out of the box, but it's most definitely not. Basically you need to buy a chip and attach it to the back cover. You can get them off eBay for $3, e.g.: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Qi-Wireless-Charging-Charger-Rece… … and if it costs $3 shipped from China, then LG's cost would have been much less than $1, so why they could not have shipped with these chips fitted to the backs of the covers in the box as standard is beyond me.
