I am not keen on voice recognition either.

The 2597LMT is a great unit - you won't regret it.
Compared to 55LMT, apart from voice recognition and Bluetooth.. are there any other features available in 2597LMT ?

Actually… since the latest software and map updates - it hasn't been as great. There is a big warning that comes up at the start which is annoying, and now it doesn't show the speed limit all the time like it used to.
Don't buy 55LM, better take 55LMT, it provide you with live traffic.also cheaper $1
2597LMT has voice recognition and bluetooth. It depend on your need
