Got a 70 inch Uhd last year for under 3K? They were much cheaper before the $ crashed.
Was it a brand name panel care to share how much and what it was?
Sony UHD 70 inch $2995 I think
Wow would have loved to seen that deal have had my eye out for ages and this is the first brand name 70" 4k panel I've seen around this price certainly nothing under 3k unless you include no name brands
EDIT: Actually I do think I know the one your talking about but from memory it wasn't HDMI 2.0 so only did 4k @ 30hz
@ozlegacy: incorrect. It is hdmi 2.0 and does 4K @ 60hz
Thanks. Bought 2 for the cubby house
Thanks OP. Currently looking to replace my car head unit. This will blend perfectly with my dash

Perfect dinnng table
Can someone comment on buoyancy? Looking to replace surfboard.
I was going to get an iPhone 6+ but this screen will be much easier to see all the TnA snapchat messages I get.
How does this Samsung TV stack up?
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-UA65JS9000W-65-165cm-Curv…
$4995 reduced to $4495 PLUS $500 cash back from Samsung when you recycle a old tv, making it $3995!
With a $200 Cashback, it will make it to $3795 and the million dollar question is it a better TV?
5" smaller, but also is 3D. Curved too - not sure if that is a pro or a con….
I bought one today.

Both really detailed and well written reviews. Both glowing results.
which one? Samsung?
Yer mate, the $4995 Samsung in your link. I grabbed mine from Harvey Norman who price matched at $4320 and explained how to put through the $500 cash back ($3820 final price).
By all accounts, it is one of the three best TVs on the market atm.
@art vaandelay: cool.. let me know how it is when you have used it.
Came here looking for funny comments.
Not disappointed.
Finally big screen UHD's are coming to a reasonable price and there's starting to be some content (Netflix).
It normally hurts to be an early adopter of technology but UHD was just silly when you couldn't watch anything in that quality.
