Awesome light. Amazingly bright for the size. Weighs next to nothing and has been on my keyring for over a year with no signs of damage.

I have one of these, great torch, might get a clear, since I have the black.
    EDIT: what metastable said.

  • +2

I had one of these turn up in the post today. It looks great and I've now ordered another two!

  • +1

These things are cool on your keys but its easy to sit on the switch draining the battery! :/

  • been thinking about getting a couple for almost double this price, great timing thanks !!

don't forget cashrewards, bonus 4.8% back

  • Bought 3. Hopefully they're not fake.

  • yeah paid $13 for mine a while back handy torch and fairly bright on high

  • +1

Why not use a phone's flashlight?

    • +7
      1. its brighter - 45 lumens c/f around 10 lumens for an iphone
      2. you may be in a situation where you need light but need to conserve phone battery
      3. you can use it in the middle of the night without your wife getting suspicious
      4. convenience ? OK you probably have your phone on you all the time but these are really light and small - easy to keep in pocket, keyring, attached to backpack etc
      • Why does your wife get suspicious when you use your phone fit light in the middle of the night?

        • +2

Mmm,sixty four slices of American cheese…

    • +1

try dropping one of these vs your phone

  • +1

    Thanks OP, got some.

Nitecore is good quality stuff - i've got their EA4 - blam!

  • +1

Sounds good, might have to order one.

Does anyone know, can the batteries in these easily be replaced?

    • +2

It's USB rechargeable. Not sure if you would really bother trying to replace the battery once it dies ?

      • +1

        Yes, I understand its rechargeable.

Personally, I try and avoid throwing something away if it can be easily fixed (even if its cheap like this). At a guess I'd say you probably can replace the battery- from the pictures it appears to be held together with 4 philips head screws.

        • +1

Ah. Apologies. Yes it does have 4 (tiny) philips head screws.

        • +2

Pretty sure it is swappable because there is a modded VN version. These are very well made and the battery seems to be good quality and holds charge well, but I've only had mine for about 6 months so don't know about the longevity of the batteries.

  • +1

Sometimes mine has come on in my pocket at night must have knocked it somehow just notice my pocket glowing.

    • +2

      good thing it's rechargeable :)

    • Which pocket was it in?

  • +1

What are the chances of this arriving before Christmas, considering this is banggood?

    • +5

My delivery times from Banggood have been quite reasonable at around 3 weeks. Gearbest is another (long) story…

      • +2

You are right… sorry, I was getting BG mixed up with GB.

My Gearbest order from 12th of JULY still hasn't arrived….

        • My GearBest order from 3 June 2014 hasn't arrived.

BangGood has been good for me though…and all genuine so far…

  • +1

Bought 2 for the kids (and me if I like them). Got some nitecore stuff and it is good, so interested to see what this is like.

Would have to pass, thought it was going to be a 1c deal, wish it was.

    • +1

You can get cheap keyring torches, but i expect this to be very well made, especially considering the comments.

Saw a video once of the manufacture of their EA4 and it blew me away.

  • Bought one of each. Will make good little Xmas presents.

  • +1

thanks op. i can now complete my tube collection with one of every colour ^_^

  • +1

    Any other nitecore deals??? :)

  • Same here. I've given up.

  • Looks like the sale stock has run out as the image showing 40% off appears with the "in stock" label, and after a short wait, the "in stock" label disappears and the price is now $14.06 AUD.
