  • Why didn't you lower the price during the eBay promotion.. I had my eyes on this for a while now..

    • This is even better than the eBay promotion, and we have very limited stock.

      • +1

and we have very limited stock.

that doesn't make it a bargain.

      • +6

I think what Ahan was saying is that you should have discounted it while the eBay promotion was running, essentially making it 58% off RRP (your 43% + eBay's 15%)

  • so no 4G for this?

  • Wow - 128 GB of RAM?
The only places I can find that mention the RAM are two review sites - one that had a 4GB model to test, and one that was lucky enough to get an 8GB model. Neither Toshiba or Telstra list the RAM, merely giving the internal storage, and listing a 64GB expansion option [ which, if it will take a 64GB SD, can surely also take a 128GB one unless the processor or software have a limitation??].
If not listed, I'll take it it is 2GB.

It also looks like you have three models of this - your main sites list a 4G model which is expandable, a wi-fi model which isn't [link below], then this wi-fi model which apparently is.

Are you certain on the expandability?

    • You linked to a Celeron model, so there is more than 3 out there from Telstra.

      • The heading on the page my clicking on that link does to is:

        "Toshiba Portege Z10T-B i5 WiFi".

        at the price of $1755.

Telstra must have taken a look at your account :-P

Their specs don't match their title, hard to rely on information as to what you are getting here.

Battery Capacity: 600 mAH - I hope that is an error, as it isn't going to last long.

    • Toshiba's website states the Z10T has a 3460mAh battery and gets 6 hours and 40 mins usage.

  • The problem with this model is the SSD at 128GB is too small. By the time you replace the SSD with a larger one, it isn't going to be such a great deal. I suppose some people might survive with such a small drive.

    • +2

This is a portable device. A secondary PC for most people. The storage capacity shouldn't be a problem.

      • I still think 128GB is going to be too tight for many people and I wouldn't always assume it would be their secondary pc.

        • While I get what you mean tablets like these are a niche anyway….

They fit power users on the go, also unlikely to get many options for bigger ssd and form factor in this the same package… besides if it isn't someones secondary or mobile device they can use external storage options….

  • Just confirming that this tablet has Wi-Fi rep?

  • +1

Not keen to support a seller too lazy to list the screen resolution or RAM. This is basic stuff OP

    • Toshiba list most @ 4 GB, but have no listing for the "B" varient, which looks like a Telstra only model. leading one to wonder what it was they needed that was different.
Listing the RAM amount is probably under a different department, and the error will be rectified on their next monthly update.
Still, it's good to see that the USB C models are probably close if they are ditching this "limited quantity" almost was…

      • The B variant of the Z10t has an integrated stylus and the screen to support it. The original A model would not work with a fine tip stylus - required a "fat" stylus or good old finger.

Ive set up hundreds of these for a Government department, with 4G SIM's. 4GB RAM is the norm. Recently replaced by the Z20t which is a much nicer looking device.

        The Z10t is very plasticy.

        • Plasticy sometimes isn't a bad thing - there are a few Acer Liquid Metals from Telstra's Great Dumping of 2011 that as still going strong tho sat upon, if a bit cloudy :-)

Asus t300 is a better machine and its alot cheaper with 30%off dick smith ebay store a day before

    • Agreed. Purchased one for $590: great machine.

    • Seem steep for the few remaining ulv tablets. Sp2 would be a better buy if you can find new stock

  • I got this tablet for $669 on Kogan last year.

  • OP seems to have gone silent.

    Hmmmmm…..
