Coles Credit Cards

Hi There,

I am planning to apply $0 annual fee Coles credit card with the below offer:

You can collect 10,000 BONUS POINTS plus $100 off a single Coles Supermarket shop when you apply for and are approved for a Coles Credit Card between 24 September and 6 October 2015.

But hurry! Offer ends 6 October 2015.

Just wondering how long do they take to approve ?

EDIT: only 2 more working days before its expired - 03rd and 06th Oct. Considering 05th is a Public holiday.

  • Where is the offer for 10000 points?

    • I received an e-mail from Flybuys.

  • +1

you apply online and will be given instant approval or rejection

  • They will most likely still give you the points if you start the process prior to the end date. If not up front call and complain that you started the process before the offer ended and they will do it.

I went for the card that costs $50 per year which is the Coles platinum card. This is because I pay in full and you get 2 points per dollar spent. Depending on how much you spend this can return you a lot of value. For our family of four we will get between $400-$500 back in value on the points so I was happy to spend the $50 per year as every 2000 points gets you $10 off when you shop at coles or you can use them on other flybuys stuff.

    • Thanks mate

  • note it is only worth going for the points card if you always pay in full and don't pay interest. If you are going to pay the card off over time you are better off going for any low interest card and forgetting about the points as the value is low relative to the interest you will pay.

  • Got my approval online instant

    • I applied and the final page mentioned that it has been conditionally approved.

      No Confirmation e-mail though.

Tried calling their customer service and looks like its only for existing customers. Couldn't connect to agent

  • I got that offer too. I don't really want it, but it seems silly not to get it, right?

    • yeah $150 is too tempting
