60

Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer Bundle for 3DS - $55 - This bundle has the game, a random amiibo card and the NFC Reader. Target also has a buy any two items totally over $75 from a selected range, and you get free delivery. So with the $50 ebay voucher and two copies of the AC:HHD Bundle, the total will be $60 with free delivery, which is the cost of 2 x NFC readers, making the games themselves free. :) Great buy for gaming couples <3

  • $45 stand alone in store. Yet ebay store has it for $55. Weird

Also you can buy anything over 75 bucks you do not need two of the same game

    • I said buy two items from the selected range. Why is there so much negativity. The bundle has the NFC reader worth $29.95 in it, so how is it comparable with the standalone at all. People have successfully sold this game in the last couple of days at the $40-$45 mark, and if you wait for the sale to finish before you sell, then chances are you can go the full $45, instead of a $40 undercut.

$45 for game, $55 for game and nfc reader.

Using a $50 voucher to reduce the price of the bundle does not make the games free. You paid for the voucher. Take the discount into account.

    • Yes its a good deal but the rest of the reasoning is very confusing and not necessary

    • Actually…

I got a refund today and was told to keep my item if I left good feedback after my item arrived in really poor condition. Used my $50 already on this very item so I actually did get it (almost, I paid for postage and $5) free!

      • haha that is awesome!

      • nice

    • I bought items I needed, so the voucher is completely free, as I would have bought the items that week anyway, and they had no markup on them. I also needed two NFC readers.

    1. Standalone copy is $45 brand new at target, i think you'll struggle to sell it for $45.
    2. The $50 voucher is not really "free"
    3. A packet of Amiibo Cards are $4.95 (consists of 3 cards), so how are you going to sell them off for 5 bucks a piece? lol
    • check sold listings - I said roughly, people are interested in buying specific cards, not leaving it to chance.

edited, because no-one wants turnover tips.

  • whats this 50 dollar voucher thing ?? am i missing something, can't find a code or any discount on the site about it

some help in the right direction would really help cheers

    • The voucher was an offer from last month on ebay, which would have arrived yesterday for the people that were eligible. The post is about the $55 AC:HDD Bundle, which is the best price I have found, using the voucher is just a suggestion.

  • I need someone to explain to me what the benefit of amiibos and amiibo cards is for this game. We know Nintendo's gone money-crazy with the Amiibo scheme, but what will buying these cards get me in the game that I can't earn by playing it?

Is it worth buying the NFC bundle for the extra $10? Because as is, I only have a regular 3DS, so no NFC scanning for me at current moment. I love Animal Crossing, but if the capitalism is too strong… I may have to give it a miss.

    • The main thing that drew me to the bundle was the NFC reader, we love Animal Crossing, so it made sense to get the bundle, rather than pay $29.95 each for just NFC readers.

      • True enough, but on that point, do you really need two NFC readers? Surely once you read the amiibo/card, you have that information on your 3DS forever and don't need to use it again. You could just take turns, and end up saving $10.
