  At this stage I'm not so keen on FocalPrice. I've ordered 2 items from them. 1 was a special with limited quantity still in stock. I purchased it and found out later it was actually an out of stock item. I got my money back without having to get external intervention, but it was a messy and time consuming run around with them.

  The second item I purchased they kept asking me to wait on, should be there, maybe a bit late. We did have the postal strike. But now it's nearly 2 months on. :( So I'm attempting to get money back again.

  Was I just unlucky? What have other people's experiences been like?

    Yes you were unlucky.

    I've also had to wait in the past, but this is just what happens with these types of business's. Most of the time the wait isn't too long.

    If you want to be 100% sure you wont' have to wait, order an item that says "in stock" on the item page.

    IMO Dealextreme is even worse when they have to order in stock. Maybe its just luck.

    Ive bought 2 things from them. both things have taken 1 month to come, but they both made it in the end and were perfect (for the price lol)

    So just unlucky?

  they did have another 1c deal before and didn't require purchase and i received that with no problem.

  waiting for my new stuff to arrive, hopefully it'll be ok!

    You guys were just unlucky. I've used them before and they are great. One of my orders took 2 weeks to arrive and the other got here in 3 weeks (straight after Xmas period). I just placed another order with them today.

    The thing with these sites is that they don't carry too many stock on hand as they drop ship it to you. Items that have been recently added and popular tend to turn up pretty quickly.
